The imposing Towers of Astraka

Papigo village, with its special beauty, has a feature that is impossible to go unnoticed, as it essentially “marks” the area.
The theoretic rocks that cast their imposing shadow on the village, the so-called “Towers of Astraka”.
Astraka is one of the peaks of Mount Tymfi, at an altitude of 2,436 meters. It is said that its name means “roof” and it was given to it precisely because it stands as a roof over the village.

No matter how many times one looks up at the “Towers of Astraka”, what will see is never the same.
The view is different when the sunset colors illuminate the granite rocks, another when the fog surrounds the towers, completely different when the snow covers the rocks.
Position on the map
I’ve read that the “Towers of Astraka” are the Parthenon of Nature and i think it’s true.
